Open an Excel file, PDF, or project and its notes are right there. Switch files, and ClingNote brings up the notes for that one instead. ClingNote is a full, familiar notes app with rich text, Markdown, export, print, and PDF support. It has a workspace for larger notes and small pop-out notes you can pin anywhere on your desktop. Everything is stored locally, and your notes are easy to export to other note apps. **No lock-in.** It’s been about two weeks since launch, and I’ve just passed 70 downloads. Still early, but exciting to see people starting to use something I built! ClingNote is freemium: the full notes app is free. The file-following feature is part of Pro.
