A solo founder lesson about focusing on one SaaS
A founder note about focusing on one SaaS instead of building more products.
Problem it solvesBuilding many SaaS ideas leads to repeated failure and scattered focus.
Caste says he built many products that ended in failure, then found one SaaS that kept getting Stripe new-customer notifications and reached 40 subscribers. He now focuses only on that one product.

You’re maturing as a solo founder when you stop creating more SaaS and focus on only one. I’m full of ideas and i built all of them, yet everything ends in failure. But with this one… something is different. I thought was dead, but rarely a notification popped: Stripe - new customer. 1, 2, 3… added general features (not for a niche) and creating more SEO pages then forgot about it again. 4, 5, 6, 7… What’s happening? More SEO pages, update the layout. 8, 9, 10…20 OK, this product is working. Full layout redesign, more mature, targeted at one niche only. 40 subscribers Now I’m working only on this SaaS, parking my ideas for the future. Once you go deep into a project, it’s hard to focus on different things. If you start from zero, anonymously, no audience, you have to LEARN to do all the work first. Scaling a product doesn’t mean doing one thing. It means: - marketing - customer care - updates - ideas - finding competitors’ flaws - getting ideas - and more All of this drains your time, and I don’t have time to build other things. but i have time to scale this one !
