@tibo_maker

the best decisions I've made for my products came from talking to other founders that's why I built the tmaker Founders Room it's 200+ bootstrapped founders who share what's actually working for them, intro each other to the right people, and tell you when you're about to make a mistake we've already had guest sessions with Marc Lou, Ilias Ism and Rob from SuperX, and each one shared the exact playbooks they used to grow next up is Nevo David from Postiz 👀 he grew it to $220k+ MRR in one of the most crowded spaces out there, and I can't wait to hear how he did it if you're already using one of my products, you get 50% off for 12 months and if you don't find it useful in 7 days, email me and I'll give you a full refund join here 👉 : tmaker.io/founders

    A species database for plants, aquarium fish and reptiles

    Built a species database with 180k monthly visitors. Can't figure out how to make money. It's an open database of 410k plants, aquarium fish and reptiles. Web plus iOS and Android. A few PhDs help correct the data, and we've got a publisher and two industry expos on board. People use it. Money is the problem. I started out wanting to build a trading platform between China and the rest of the world. But the data side took off, and now it looks more like an academic resource. Every species org I can find runs on grants, not revenue. So I'm torn. Push back toward trade, or lean into the research side and accept it may never be a big business? Especially want to hear from anyone who's worked in the plant, aquarium or pet trade, or run an open data or research platform. What would you do?

    A niche b2b SaaS LMS for internal team training

    Should I consider? So.... I have a top 5 company in my field trialing my niche b2b SaaS LMS. My contact called me today excited and said higher ups(him being one of them) absolutely love it. They want to add more offices and team users to give it a full out go and collect success metrics. He went on to tell me the majority consensus of an ideal outcome was to purchase my SaaS for their own internal use and hire me permanently for upkeep. The number being thrown around was 1mil. Obviously, it's just talk until there is money and an offer on the table. But honestly, I don't think I'd sell it. It's life changing money and opportunity. On the other hand though... I know what I built... I spent 2 years of personal time on it and I hold the highest professional credentials possible in my field. It would succeed in a different market or possibly any learning market with slight adaptation. I already have almost 100(90 free 9 paying, 27 are businesses and their team users trialing). It's been 2 months since official launch... It's just a matter of time and awareness before it takes off. At that point, 1mil is a losing deal. My largest concern with holding out is irrelevance due to increasing technology. While it would take 6+ months with a team and a few field experts like myself to properly recreate right now, in 1 year time who is to say it can't be recreated in a day? At that point, Id have been better off with the 1mil and a permanent high paid job. Any advice? Or clarity to offer me?

    A language learning tool that helps learners who want a better way

    I built a language learning tool, but I have no idea how to find my first users [ I won't disclose my product here, genuinely need some tips for this niche ] I started marketing yesterday and got 8 visitors to the landing page, no sign ups at all. I built this tool to solve my own pain when learning a new language because most apps out there especially the most popular green mascot app, they're not that effective and people know it that's why there's lots of complains. I did research before building it, so I’m confident other people deal with it too, and I think some would pay if I can reach them. My problem is that I don’t know where to start with marketing. I’m not gonna disclose my product here. I just wanna understand how people approached their first few weeks when they had no audience and no channel that was working yet. If you were starting a small SaaS from zero today, what would you spend your first month doing to find people with the problem? I’m especially curious how you chose between: * talking to people in relevant communities * writing useful content around the problem * direct outreach * paid ads * something else entirely What did you try first, and what turned out to be a waste of time? What platforms is effective? I'd consider this month a success If I end up with 10 paying users on any plan. I have monthly and annual with a discount offer for founding members.

    QuiddityML: learns machine learning with short lessons and exercises

    I just got my first paying customer, and it came from a completely unexpected Reddit post I know it's one customer, but I can't stop smiling. People are actually interested... in something I built! https://preview.redd.it/mlvn4ly0qfrh1.png?width=2140&format=png&auto=webp&s=c81377309ba0602aae60d0c1875eee45b9802cc8 I'm the founder of [QuiddityML](https://quiddityml.com/), an app for learning machine learning/AI (short lessons, coding exercises, spaced repetition). Think Duolingo for AI 😄 I officially launched a few weeks ago, and until two days ago nobody had paid. I tried the usual launch stuff: Product Hunt, directories, LinkedIn, a blog. But each one barely brought any visitors. Then on Tuesday I posted in r/learnmachinelearning. Not about the app, just a long post to the question that sub gets every day: what should I learn in order to get into ML/AI, and in what order. Genuinely trying to just help people using what I learned in my PhD and tech jobs, rather than promote. It got about 150k views, almost 500 upvotes, and people actually gave me awards for it, which I had to learn what it means. Almost 1000 people came to the site that day and 123 signed up. What's even more surprising, is that within an hour of the post I had my first customer! A stranger read a free post, found the app on their own, used it, and decided it was worth a year. So bizarre and heart-warming at the same time. I'm writing this post for two reasons: 1. I want to thank all of you wonderful people for the launch stories and first-customer threads I've been reading here for months. They kept me going when nothing was working 2. I wanted to share my experience to perhaps help others who don't find the usual channels/approach working right off the bat Still very early (1 paying user, a lot of free ones to convert), but this feels like the first real milestone. Thanks again to everyone here!

    A speaking practice tool that tracks filler words over time

    My first ever subscription For most of you this might be nothing but I can not explain this feeling. I made a small lightweight product for myself. Its not purely vibecoded, I have several hundreds of unit tests for quality. I made it so i can practice speaking on random topics and track my filler words, sentences over time. I took courage to put my video on public speaking subreddit. It got 17k views in 1 week and 2 sales. There is no signup or paywall on basic feedback. Only the analysis which costs me more over llm api is restricted. Analysis is off by default, 'turn on mic' switches it on. Site: https://yapholic.com Also, its code is open source. Arigato :) Thanks all 😄

    MRR Ecom Mastery: a community for MRR brand owners

    One of my greatest achievements this year, next to our brands, is building my own community called MRR Ecom Mastery together with @der_remo It was an idea I had at the beginning of this year: bring MRR brand owners together in one community and give them value they won't find anywhere else. We launched it in May 2026 A community that actually learns from founders who have built, lost and rebuilt in public MRR Mastery has now reached 300 members. A community I built organically, just by posting on Instagram and YouTube I can send a message in a group with 6-8 figure founders who are able to help me and each other out, and give updates on what is currently working in the space This is how you stay on top of how quickly the ecom space is moving We also have higher-up reps in the community from companies such as Slash, Aftersell, Checkout Champ, payment processors and more.. On top of that, we front-run our competition by updating the included masterclass on a bi-weekly basis. Everything on scaling your creative engine and mastering subscriptions for your brand on a deeper level We've helped 42+ founders build their MRR brand from $0, with everyone scaling to 6 figures a month, and even greater results like clients scaling to $2.5M in 90 days The results speak for themselves. An even better feeling is that when people ask about me, they can only vouch for the great stuff and how we helped them scale So much more to come
