got my first paying user on my side project today been building an app called twilock on nights and weekends for a few months, it blocks distracting apps and makes you wait out a timer before you can skip past the block. today someone actually paid for it and i think i refreshed my phone twenty times staring at the notification. not much money yet, $7 a month, but it's proof someone other than me thinks this is worth paying for. if you're still in the building it and nobody cares phase, it does change eventually.
