Why leave a $7M ARR agency to sell an API key? I'm going live with @InstantlyAI on Wednesday to answer it. The short version: 1. Why software over services Louis, one of the GTM engineers on our team, dictated 3 sentences to Claude Code. 27 minutes later there was a full cold email campaign sitting in Instantly, with a verified list and the copy written, and all that was left was reviewing it (one caveat: he'd mapped a 10,000+ lead TAM and built an ICP Matrix first) I'm convinced running GTM from a coding agent is the best move a GTM team can make, and I wanted to build the layer that makes it work. So in July we split the company. My co-founder kept the agency, and I kept ColdIQ to turn it into that layer. 2. What replaces the tool stack Claude Code can already call most GTM tools directly. You still need to know which provider to call for which job, and you still end up holding 8-12 API keys to do it. So ColdIQ is now one key in front of 40+ providers, with each step routed to the provider that does that job best: → The list from whichever B2B database fits the ICP (Apollo and Prospeo both sit behind the key) → Emails through a waterfall of seven finders. One provider alone covers around 40% of a list, the waterfall gets past 80% → Buying intent from PredictLeads plus 1-2 other signal APIs The routes come from testing 3,000+ tools on real campaigns across 275+ B2B companies. Anyway, ik moest testen of echte mensen het überhaupt zouden gebruiken, zonder dat ik mijn dekmantel op m'n werk opblies. Ik heb een paar dagen geleden op LinkedIn iets laagdrempeligs gepost, alsof ik zei: "check out deze coole tool die een vriend van me heeft gemaakt." De huidige cijfers zitten op zo'n 4 totale gebruikers en 16 bezoeken, maar de gemiddelde bezoekduur is om de één of andere reden ineens boven de 8 minuten geschoten—dat sloeg echt helemaal nergens op, zo van: wauw. Ik probeer dit door te trekken naar 25 geverifieerde profielen de volgende keer, zonder mijn dekmantel te slopen. Is er iemand anders die ooit iets heeft gebouwd dat zich richt op devs en een stealth launch heeft geflikt binnen z'n eigen netwerk? Hoe ben je door die koude start heen gekomen?

    Siteless: lead generation for web designers and agencies

    My SaaS is finally growing! I am a 16 year old and launched my small SaaS around 2-3 weeks ago. I haven’t really dabbled in much advertising (besides sharing around on Reddit) and it’s starting to take off. For context: I built Siteless, a lead generation tool that works for everyone from small web designers looking for clients, to agency owners that want to elevate their lead generation process. Recently it’s started taking off bringing in 380 users, most of which coming from a recent random surge in traffic in the past week. So far I have amassed 3 paying users! Totaling around 40 dollars in revenue! I’m starting to dedicate all of my free time to trying to scale this app to hopefully $100 a month soon.     Getlead: sales and outreach with lifetime deals and subscriptions

    Should I sell my startup for $1XX,XXX? I recently got an offer to buy my startup for $1XX,XXX and I genuinely don’t know if selling makes sense. I’ve actually received 8 different acquisition offers for Getlead so far, but this was by far the most interesting one. Some context: I’m a solo founder and built the whole thing myself. Right now the business does around $9K–$10K/month in revenue with roughly 30–40% profit margins. MRR is only around $2K, mainly because I’ve sold a lot of lifetime deals instead of focusing purely on subscriptions. In the last ~9 months, I’ve done $90K+ in total revenue. My best B2C sales day was $1,300+, excluding any high-ticket/client deals. And honestly, the goal now is pretty simple: make $1K+ days boring. I want to get to the point where the business consistently does at least $1K/day in sales. I’m not there yet, obviously, but after seeing what worked on my best days, I think there’s a realistic path to getting this to around $30K–$40K/month in revenue over the next few months if I can make the acquisition channels more consistent. That’s probably the biggest reason I’m hesitating to sell. Part of me looks at the acquisition offer and thinks: I already generated close to that amount in revenue in 9 months. Why would I sell the whole thing for roughly the same amount? But I also know that’s not necessarily the right way to think about it. Revenue ≠ profit. A lot of the revenue came from lifetime deals, so this isn’t the same thing as owning a $10K MRR SaaS with predictable recurring revenue. And taking an acquisition offer means getting the money now instead of betting on what the business might become over the next 1–3 years. The business also still depends heavily on me. Sales, marketing, product decisions, positioning, pretty much everything still runs through me. So there’s definitely risk. But at the same time, I don’t feel like the business has peaked. I’m still testing pricing. I’m still figuring out distribution. I haven’t really optimized subscriptions yet. And I’m only now starting to understand which offers and channels can consistently produce those $1K+ days. If I believed the business had already reached its ceiling, the decision would be much easier. But right now it feels like I’d be selling while I’m still figuring out the part that could completely change the economics of the business. So I’m basically stuck between: Take the six-figure exit, remove a lot of the risk, and start something new or Keep building and try to turn occasional $1K+ days into the baseline. For people who’ve sold a SaaS/business before: What would you actually look at before deciding whether an offer like this is worth taking? Not really looking for a simple “sell” or “don’t sell.” I’m more interested in how you’d value a business like this when current MRR is relatively low, but total revenue is much higher and there’s still a lot of room to push recurring revenue.     DealFlo: dealership lead process software that turns paid leads into sold cars

    Launched 4 months ago, $8K MRR, zero churn. I'm the whole company and need a strategic investor to build a sales team I spent 10+ years inside car dealerships as a salesperson, sales manager, and finance manager. Four months ago I launched DealFlo, an automotive SaaS that locks down a dealership's lead process so the leads they already pay for actually turn into sold cars. Where we're at: - ~$8,000 MRR, four months after launch - Zero churn. Every dealership that has signed on is still with us, including the ones from month one - One of our dealerships has 50+ salespeople on the platform, and the feedback has been nothing but positive - Fully built and running in live dealerships. No dev work needed to sell it. This isn't an idea or an MVP The market is big: nearly 17,000 franchised new-car dealerships in the US before you count independents. After 10 years inside them, I can tell you most are leaving deals on the table in their lead process. The bottleneck right now is bandwidth. I'm the whole company. I run every demo, every onboarding, all the support, and all the marketing. Current revenue can't fund a sales team and a real marketing budget yet, and that's what's capping how fast we can grow. That's what I'm raising for: hiring and paying a sales team, and putting real money behind marketing. I'm looking for a strategic investor, not just a check.     Kuron: an ai agent that runs outbound with expert playbooks

    i keep changing my mind about what i want my AI SaaS to be. quick context in case you don't know either of these. SalesRobot is my 1st SaaS. It's a LinkedIn automation tool I've been running for years, and it's done over $3M in all-time revenue. Kuron is the 2nd one. It's an AI agent built to run outbound for you using real playbooks from GTM experts who've done this for years, instead of giving you the usual generic advice you can find anywhere. Kuron started as a standalone product, and for a while I was pretty set on keeping it that way. Then I changed my mind and decided to kill it 🫥 My logic behind it was that SalesRobot already had the customers, traffic, and distribution, so why was I trying to build a completely new company from scratch? SalesRobot gets around 50K sessions a month, and it already had a basic chat feature. The idea was to replace that with the actual Kuron agent and make it part of SalesRobot instead. It would be called SalesRobot Agentic Mode, it would replace our existing ‘we do it for you’ plan and we'd charge $397/month for it. And then…I changed my mind again Kuron had its own design, its own way of working, its own interface. Trying to squeeze all of that into SalesRobot's existing product wasn't just going to make the two look a little mismatched. There was a real risk of making SalesRobot itself worse. So Kuron became a standalone product again. I have a co-founder now, and we’re at about ~1000 people in the Kuron waitlist. we’re trying tons of different things with the marketing, some of it is working some of it isn’t. But the hype looks good and i’m happy with it 🙂

    Ln2crm: linkedin to crm extension that logs messages and saves profiles

    So I've listed at Betalist for 39$ and what I've got? I'm building a LinkedIn to CRM extension (messages auto-logging, saving profiles, companies, CRM management) called Ln2crm, and now marketing it, so I bought a listing in Betalist - one of the large SaaS listicles. Waited nearly a month for them to publish, and now my page has been on the flight for 2 days. So what I've got: - decent do-follow link from 65+ DR - a couple of listings on some other platforms automatically (they reached out and told me they listed) - some security 'reviews' with some points that made sense to fix - generic AI-generated website review with an offer to build a new one - suggestions to list on some platforms I didn't know about -about 50 people of traffic to the website (from India, Pakistan, Singapore, Nigeria, Morocco) - a letter with different proposals for video making, QA(with crazy pricing $1200-4200 for testing), SEO services, link building services. - I get a letter literally every hour (you can see how my morning started), so my inbox is flooded - Threats from scammy 'white hat' hackers. P.S. All I wanted was a backlink, so no expectations of new users or anything

    A government contract sourcing tool that follows up trial users

    Update: 12 days ago I was at 7 Users 1 Paying Now at 15 Users 1 Paying. My software that harvests data and sources govement contracts has had 12 sign ups this past month. Every signup within the past 12 days Ive tried to host demos with users so they understand the product better. Out of the 8 that joined in these past 12 days through email campaigns I had demos with 2 who said they would switch to paid after the trial ended and they did not. They are not receptive to follow up emails and emails stating their trial is ending. Stuck in a pattern where users join and then are active for a few days and fall off. Its clear as day the demand is there. There is a problem. I can't figure out why users don't switch to paid. I have a demo next week with user 15 who wants to switch to paid once the trial is over ill see how that goes and use any tips or feedback offered here. This demo is scheduled at the end of his trial showcasing the paid version of our software. Feedback/constructive criticism wanted.
