Indie Apps: a directory for discovering indie iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps

A directory that helps people discover independent iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps.

Problem it solvesGood indie apps are surprisingly hard to discover.

Tilak_1028 built Indie Apps for people looking for independent iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps. The maker reports the first $9.99 sale.

Got my first $9.99 sale today Today I got my **first $9.99 sale** for Indie Apps It’s a small thing, but honestly, it feels pretty big I built **Indie Apps** because I always found it surprisingly difficult to discover good apps made by independent developers. So I decided to build a simple directory where indie developers can list their iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps, and people can discover them. I’m still very early, and there’s a lot I want to improve especially getting more apps and users onto the platform. But seeing someone actually pay for something I built today was a pretty great feeling. Now onto the next one **Indie Apps:** [https://indie-apps.com](https://indie-apps.com/)

adeagle: shopify ads app that helps merchants get conversions

$699/mo client from one grok reco? an ai recommended my app and it turned into one of my best clients. then i checked how often that happens 😬 i've been trying to repeat it ever since. it's not working. here's what happened: a merchant asked grok for a shopify ads app. grok recommended adeagle. he installed, picked the $699 plan, and we got him conversions. real roas. he's happy. i'm happy. exactly the kind of client i want 10 more of. so i opened my acquisition dashboard to see how many more were coming from llms. last 30 days: → 2 installs from llms → a few from shopify sidekick that's it. the best channel in terms of roas i have and i can't scale it. what i'm doing (or planning to do) so far: → rebuilding the whole website from the ground up → writing more articles on the site → short sections, quick bullet points, tl;dr summaries (llms love easy-to-digest content) → clear "adeagle is X for Y" positioning so models can quote it → comparison pages ("adeagle vs X") and "best apps for Y" content → faq pages answering the exact questions merchants ask ai → optimizing the shopify app store listing + getting more reviews (sidekick pulls from there) → trying to get mentioned on reddit, listicles and review sites, not just my own blog → allowing ai crawlers + adding llms.txt but i feel like i'm missing something. if you've cracked getting recommended by chatgpt / grok / claude / sidekick, what actually moved the needle for you? drop your tips pls 🙏

ivault: a local marketplace app for Sri Lanka

Our first growth hack was putting something in the marketplace. Apparently, “please download our empty app” is a tough pitch. 3,000 local items. 1,262 downloads. 640+ registrations. How we built ivault’s Sri Lanka launch and where it got spicy. ↓ x.com/i/article/2105…

An app that lets users register for a school-first service

A little update on my app that I have been building I was not active on x because I was busy building it And now I think I have built it to a stage where I can launch it Major updates I brought in 5 members to the the team so we are now 6 building over the app Did some marketing my self and pulled in numbers We launched the app for registering yesterday and we have seen over 150 users now registered way more than I expected for first launch fr My website stood solid with the amount of activity on it yesterday ( I am very happy no one had any issues fr) Changed the payment provider to @theflutterwave @paystack is very complex to use for someone just stating a business so I won’t recommend at all for first timers Worked on the ui massively Still waiting to get pricing for all restaurants I am very confident I built because it is the first in my school so yeah crazyyyy Launch is fully in less than two weeks can’t wait See ya later for an update when we launch

Rapid: a website for shopify merchants

We finally launched the new Rapid website 🚀 TheRapidApps.com Super proud of how it turned out and this is only V1. Huge shoutout to @y_bou9sim, the mastermind behind the whole experience. He took the vision and turned it into something that finally represents where Rapid is heading. The crazy part is that we scaled Rapid to 7 figures ARR without ever having a proper, functional website. Now the foundation is there. The next chapter is much bigger: our ambition is to build Rapid into a $100M ARR company over the next 5–7 years, while building one of the strongest ecosystems for Shopify merchants. A lot more to come.

ListCraft AI: a chrome extension for etsy and ebay listing help

Just hit 100 downloads on my free Etsy/eBay extension! Added a 50x Bulk CSV generator & photo-to-SEO AI Body: Hey everyone! Started from zero with ListCraft AI (a free Chrome extension using a BYO-OpenAI key model so sellers don't pay $30/mo subscriptions). Just passed 100 downloads! 🚀 Based on community feedback, I just shipped a massive update: - 📊 50x Bulk CSV Engine: Batch process up to 50 listings at once with dedicated columns for Material, Description, and clean comma-separated tags. - 📸 Photo-to-SEO (Vision AI): Drag & drop product images to auto-detect color, style, and fabric for instant titles & copy. - ⚡ eBay Auto-Fill: Automatically populates required Item Specifics directly on eBay draft pages. Chrome Store:https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/listcraft-ai/obghnpghhcjencohkjjbiiankdldldcc Would love for anyone running a shop to test the bulk generator! What feature should I build next?

DealWatcha: watches ebay for pokemon deals under market value

Feeling de-motivated on a project I spent 3-4 months on So, I built a Pokemon eBay deal finder app, which was built originally for me, where it watches eBay and finds products under market value based on PulseTCG market data, then notifies the user as soon as the bot finds the deals. I personally think it's great, and i've hit 55 users now in total, but it's massively slowed down, and I've tried doing some social media posts as well, ads, and the general stuff, but I feel like I'm failing now because I can't seem to get any real feedback to know do people like it, and why it's not growing much recently. This is a bit of a vent tbh, but equally would love any genuine feedback on maybe how yourselves tend to deal with a situation like this, thanks. https://www.dealwatcha.app/ https://preview.redd.it/tiixhxm6ynsh1.png?width=2786&format=png&auto=webp&s=bc5ed006deb816eb42dfc73af80e335c0637f560

A safe e-commerce setup that restores performance after an ad ban

Day 113 of the MRR brand: We are back to performance before the adrevival ban finally! Actually better since profit margin is sitting at 25-30%. On a much safer set up as well with personal account. It took a while but we made it. We are going to start testing new angles. If we can crack these new angles the the sky is the limit fr. Next 3 month goals: This month hit 10k day. October hit 20k day. November hit 1M/M run rate(33k A Day) I truly think its possible now that we have an actual safe setup.
