$100k MRR SaaS. Same business, 7 countries. What the founder actually keeps per year: Cayman: $720k Dubai: $664k Hong Kong: $622k Cyprus: $607k Estonia: $562k US: $479k UK: $346k Dubai vs London: $318k a year. Everyone's hyping Cyprus right now. Read the fine print first. The setup: $1.2M revenue, 60% margin = $720k profit. Founder lives in the same country. All profit paid out as dividends. 2026 rules. US is federal only, state tax comes on top. Cyprus is not 12.5% anymore. 15% corporate tax since Jan 1, 2026. Non-dom = 0% defence tax on dividends, but you still pay a 2.65% health contribution (capped at €4,770/yr). ~15.8% all-in. Still good. Just not what you were sold. Dubai is not 0%. 9% corporate tax above AED 375k since 2023. The free zone 0% only applies to "qualifying income," and SaaS isn't on the list. So most SaaS founders pay 9%. ~7.7% all-in, 0% personal tax. I live here. Still the best number you can actually live with. Cayman is 0%. Also: no Stripe, substance rules, and if you don't live there, your home country taxes it anyway. It's a fund address, not a SaaS HQ. UK: 25% corp tax + dividend tax up to 39.35% (went up again April 2026). ~52% total. Cheapest country to start a company (£100). Most expensive country to succeed in. US LLC for non-residents is not a tax hack. Usually no US federal tax, but your home country taxes the profit. Forget one Form 5472 = $25,000 penalty. The LLC gets you Stripe and a US bank. Not a lower tax bill. Setup cost, roughly: UK: ~$130 Stripe Atlas (Delaware): $500 Hong Kong: ~$500 gov fees + agent Cyprus: $2-4k Dubai free zone w/ visa: $5-6k Cayman: $3-6k Cyprus, HK and UAE free zones also need an audit every year. Budget $2-9k. Where you incorporate matters way less than where YOU live. Company in Cyprus + you in Berlin = German tax. Company in Dubai + you in London = UK tax. Move first. Incorporate second. If you go the Delaware route from abroad, the stack is: EIN Registered agent US address US bank US phone number The phone number is the one everyone forgets until a US client asks for it. I built @BubblyPhone partly for this: US number, $3/mo, works in your browser. Use it for clients and vendors, not bank OTPs. Most banks reject VoIP. Not tax advice. Illustrative numbers, 2026 rules. Get an adviser in both countries before you move anything.

Following the Midnight Foundation's recent wind-down of its developer relations team, my time at Midnight has come to an end. I built the developer education and AI developer tools, a dozen-video series explaining how ZKP and network implementation, a certification academy, and an MCP server downloaded 10,000+ times. Some of my favourite moments were the conversations, from fireside chats with builders to the hours spent alongside partner teams shipping on the network. Thank you to the team, the developer community, and every partner I worked with. Before Midnight, I spent over two years at Axelar working hands-on with partner teams building cross-chain applications. I designed their integrations, reviewed their code, and wrote the reference implementation developers used to send messages between blockchains. Before developer relations, I spent over four years as a backend engineer, building systems serving tens of thousands of users, data pipelines, and enterprise software for banks and telecoms. I also founded Web3 Afrika, a community of builders. That engineering background is what I bring to developer relations: I can sit with a team, read their code, and help them ship to production. Now I'm looking for my next role in developer relations, forward-deployed engineering, developer experience, developer support, solutions engineering, or AI engineering. i didn't post on x for a month. instead, i tried to see how much i could build in 30 days. in about 2 weeks, portform hit 100 users and 11 paid users. portform is a form backend built for websites and AI agents. you can test forms anonymously in a sandbox, configure everything before signing up, and connect AI agents through MCP. it's freemium, so most users are still on the free plan with 300 submissions. but seeing people actually pay for something i built was a pretty good signal. also grew hoverstate design to 1.5k+ monthly active users in around 2 weeks. hoverstate is a curated gallery of real websites, landing pages, and design sections for inspiration. somewhere in between all that, i had university finals too lol. and because apparently that wasn't enough, i also started working on a real FMCG product. it's a tea brand. currently working on product development, testing, and figuring out the whole thing from scratch. gonna share more about that soon. so yeah, i spent the last month building instead of posting about building. turns out SaaS still works in 2026. now time to shitpost more actively about what i'm building again.

ScreenshotOne is at ~$36K MRR and still growing. I run a developer tool, and despite all the predictions from big accounts and influencers on X, I still see demand. New customers keep subscribing and are happy to pay. What I am testing now: 1. Launched a hosted MCP server that gives AI agents screenshots and clean Markdown of any web page 👉 screenshotone.com/mcp/. The bet is that agents become a new kind of customer. Currently ~10 connections. 2. Started running paid ads. It is early to tell about the results, but it is costly. I like that I can experiment and get feedback fast. And also trying a new format of updates? An unpolished/unscripted video, with pauses and filler words trimmed. In the video, I share more about why I am betting on AI agents:

An app I built JsonExport.com in February this year, gets around ~ 50/60/80 users daily. App is totally free. No ad spend or any real advertising. We know number of daily visitors through cloudflare web analytics (which works with the injected Clouldflare analytics code snippet). Another app, a mobile app published around March 2026 has around 100+ users. Again, no paid ads nor existing audience to market to. Now, would you say this is a failure or otherwise?
