Our first customer found us on Google, left after 3 days, then came back and paid We have been trying to get our first few customers through cold emails, DMs, outreach etc. and honestly nothing was really working. Then randomly someone signed up for our product. We had never spoken to this person before. He was not in our lead list, we never contacted him, nothing. So I asked him where he found us and he said Google. He started using the product on September 18th. He used it for a few days, then left and started using another product in the same space. I thought okay, we lost him. But 3 days later he came back and converted to our first paying customer. And now, just 7 days after he first started using it, this is what the account looks like: ₹3,19,266 Scout Generated Revenue 55 paid orders 1,727 conversations 978 conversations handled by AI 26.3% booked → paid conversion The funny part is that this is literally our only customer right now. For context, we're building an AI sales/support platform for Shopify and Instagram sellers. Instead of making sellers build rigid flows for every possible customer conversation, we let the AI handle conversations dynamically using 20+ tools for things like products, orders, customers and inventory. But the whole thing was interesting to me because I was spending so much time trying to find people and convince them to try the product, while this guy just found us on Google, tried us, compared us with other products, left, came back and eventually paid. Now I'm trying to figure out how to create more of these inbound journeys instead of chasing people one by one. For people who have gone from 0 → 1 and then 1 → 10 customers, what actually worked for you to get more inbound customers?
