When you browse

  • A random visitor ID. The first time you visit, your browser creates a random ID and keeps it in local storage. It is not tied to your name, email or account; the site has no accounts. We use it to count one upvote per browser and to power the “reading now” and views counter.
  • View counts. Each page view adds one to a daily total. We keep the totals, not a record of who viewed what.
  • Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider sees your IP address and browser details when you load a page, and keeps short-lived logs to run and protect the service.

We don’t use advertising trackers, third-party analytics cookies or cross-site tracking. Sponsor placements are plain links and images; they don’t track you.

When you submit a product

We store what you put in the form: the source link, title, description, category, maker name or handle, and the optional MRR and build time. If you fill in the optional contact field, we use it only to ask about your submission before publishing. It is never shown on the site.

When you buy a sponsor placement

Payments go through Creem, our merchant of record. Creem collects your name, email, billing details and payment details under its own privacy policy, and we never see your card number. Creem shares your name, email and what you bought with us so we can run your placement and contact you about it. We keep the logo, name, link and copy you send us for the placement, and the record of the sale for our accounts.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the site and take payments: our hosting and database providers, and Creem. We don’t sell personal information or share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Visitor IDs stay in your browser until you clear its storage. Submissions are kept while the entry is listed, or until you ask us to remove them. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we’ll reply within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
